While the book will have a superb layout and has been totally and professionally edited, like most of the "for Dummies" books, it lacks content where it wants it most. there's surprisingly very little concerning accounting. There are not any samples of a way to produce any of the 3 basic accounting reports, the balance sheet, income statement, and the money flow statement. Double-entry accounting, the muse of recent accounting, is barely given 3 short pages with, again, no examples. It isn't written for those that wish to understand a way to do accounting or a way to assist their accountant with their own company's books, except for those that wish to own a useful understanding of atiny low set of reports. This makes it wholly inadequate for somebody who desires to find out concerning accounting. On the opposite hand, this might build it a decent resource for the middle-level manager who must recognize {a little|a bit|a trifle|to atiny low degree|somewhat|slightly|alittle} concerning a way to browse a small cluster of reports.
